Permits and Events

• Commercial use permits (weddings, races, organized groups, professional photography): email chatfield.park@state.co.us; apply at least 90 days ahead.
• Hot air balloon pilots and sport dog training areas: contact the park office.

In an emergency, call 911. Park rangers are trained law enforcement officers, and most park staff are trained in first aid.

Volunteering

CPW recruits volunteers at Chatfield as boat safety, bike, park and trail ambassadors, boat inspectors, visitor-services helpers and resident campground hosts. Apply through the Get Involved page on the official park website.
